Avior is the name associated with Epsilon Carinae, a binary star in the southern constellation Carina. The name was introduced for a navigational almanac in the late 1930s; the International Astronomical Union formally approved it for Epsilon Carinae A in 2016.

For Avior, that navigational connection is a brand metaphor: precision as a guiding principle, documentation as a reliable record, and stewardship as a long-term responsibility. It does not imply that a star influences seeds or confers scientific benefits.
